Please converse in the Public Domain and stop using silly Privacy footers.
IMO there is no privacy and anything can be reposted to anyone.
Long Silly privacy statements that appear on many emails are ignored by me.
Anything in Terms and Conditions is equally VOID.
Even worse are the statements that email is insecure and we mustn't use it (typical UK public sector statement).
FYI's
All my banks have systems that send an email to say I have something to read in their controlled Inbox
on the account that obviously requires me to logon securely, hopefully just FaceId - smile at my iPhone.
The GOV.UK site is designed to make it hard for general public to look at SAR and FOI etc.
Or even to converse with the UK Public Sector.
Please never use SMS it is the most insecure comms system in current use.
I occasionally accept 4 digit confirm codes sent that way, if and when the SMS network delivers them.
Some banks have plumped for "My voice is my password". Yet another poor technology.
Expect there have been many presentations by low-grade staff quasi-selling these solutions to illiterate management.
Realist, that occasionally lets cynicism have a day pass.
If you have comments or improvements to my views, please email me. (You have the email address that led you here).
Or you can carry on believing 2025 UK govt that doesn't know its posterior from its elbow.
